The Dalhousie Dodgers continued their hot start to the season as on Friday night at home they defeated the Beresford Aces 4-3. Pitcher Alex Winton got the win for the Blue and White and he pitched six strong, with Veteran hurler Serge Lebel coming in for the save.
Beresford struck early in the game as they scored two runs in the first innings. The lead was short lived however as with two runners on Andrew Carter launched a three run homerun. Beresford then tied it late in the game until Dodger were able to take the lead in the bottom of the sixth with a two out RBI single by Corey Parker.
The Dodgers return to action Wedneday July 6th as they take on the Beresford Aces before returning home to take on the Bathurst Red Sox Friday July 8th.
