In RCIBL action this weekend the Dalhousie Dodgers split a pair of games. Friday night saw the Dodgers defeat the Petit Rocher Braves by a score of 7-1. Kyle Parker picked up the win for the home side pitching five strong with veteran lefty Serge Lebel coming in too pitch the last two innings. Jeff Guitard and Andrew Carter collected a pair of hits for the Dodgers while Roger Hickey, Kyle Parker and Justin MacCurdy also contributing hits.
On Sunday night however the Dodger suffered a late inning loss to Beresford by a score of 3-2. Pitcher Tyler Firth went Five inning allowing only one run and striking out five. Cory Zakrevsky collected a pair of hits for the Dodgers with Kyle Parker, Corey Parker, Andrew Carter, Justin MacCurdy and Jeff Guitard also collecting hits.
The Dodgers return to action Friday night as they host the Beresford Aces. Game time is 8pm weather permitting.
