Dodgers rebound after tough loss to capture Regular Season pennant

On Friday night the Dalhousie Dodgers did not look like a team who were one win away from capturing the league's Regular season title. Facing defending league Champion Bathurst Red Sox, the Dodgers found themselves out of the game early in part to a combination of Errors and Solid hits by the Red Soxs. The games final score saw the Dodgers suffer a 14-2 loss at home.

On Sunday afternoon however the Dodgers had a shot at revenge as they travelled to Bathurst in a rematch of Friday nights game. With their eyes on the regular season championship one win away, the Dodgers did not let Friday night repeat itself. Scoring runs early off Bathurst Starter Brent Nelson the Dodgers would defeat their rivals 8-5. Andrew Carter picked up the win for the blue and white going seven strong picking up his fifth win of the season improving his record to 5-0. Todd Parker and Mitchell Donnelly lead the offence for the Dodgers each having a pair of hits.

The Dodgers return to action Wednesday night as they travel to Beresford to take on the Beresford Aces, before returning home Thursday night to face the Atholville Cardinals.
