In front of a packed crowd at Dodgers field in Dalhousie Monday night, the Dalhousie Dodgers suffered a heartbreaking 3-1 loss to the Atholville Cardinals in the RCIBL semi final best of five series. Cardinals pitcher Luc Fallu picked up the win for the Atholville squad lasting all seven. Dodgers starter Andrew Carter went the complete game suffering the loss.
Game two of the series will be Wednesday night in Atholville at 8pm. In the other Semi Final series Bathurst picked up a game one win over Petit Rocher 3-1. Game two of their series will be played Wednesday night in Petit Rocher.
