After a year that saw the team capture the regular season pennant, The Dalhousie Dodgers now switch their focus to the playoffs and capturing the League crown. With the semi finals now set in the RCIBL the Dodgers will be taking on the Atholville Cardinals, who are coming off a three games to one series victory over The Beresford Aces.
During the season series between these two teams, Dalhousie won every game. However having faced each other early on in the season, the Atholville squad has improved a lot since then as mentioned by Dodgers skipper Peter Thorne.
Game One of the series is set to begin Monday night in Dalhousie at 8 pm. The other series between The Bathurst Red Sox and Petit-Rocher Braves is also set to begin Monday night in Bathurst weather permitting.
