The Dalhousie Dodgers began their 2012 RCIBL campaign Sunday with a 9-7 win in Petit-Rocher. Offseason pickup Robbie Gillis went five innings picking up with the win, with rookie pitcher Tyler Good coming in to work the last two innings. Andrew Carter and Roger Hickey led the offence for the Dodgers as they each contributed homeruns. Cory Zakrevsky and Alain St-Couer also contributed with two hits each.
The Dodgers will next see action Friday June 8th as they play the Beresford Aces. Game time is 8:00 at Dodgers field.
