Dodgers thank fans for support all year

With another ball season come and gone for the Dalhousie Dodgers it was a year that many players felt ended too soon. Like in any sport a team success is often measured in the number of championships or titles. In the Dodger locker room the feeling is the same, as players only consider the season a success if they captured a provincial title. Though the Dodgers suffered an early exit in the playoffs, 2011 had many highlights for the Dodgers.

After finishing the 2010 season 9-9 tied for Second Place, the Dodgers improved greatly on that record going 15-3, capturing the League Regular season crown. Many players had amazing years and it seemed everyone contributed to the ball club.

The Dalhousie Dodgers team would like to take this time to thank Peter Thorne and David Winton. Their time and effort was appreciated by everyone on the ball club and made this an enjoyable year on and off the field. The Dodgers would also like to send out a special thanks to Earl Williams. His work around the ball field with grounds keeping and passing the hat at games is much appreciated.

The final thank you from the Dodgers goes to the Fans of Dalhousie. Your attendance and support makes playing baseball in Dalhousie one of the most enjoyable atmospheres to play ball in the province. The support the fans give the team makes the players want to wear that Dodger blue. On behalf of the team, thank you fans for your support all season long.
